Grooming

Pet grooming is a passion for us. Much like building a relationship with your stylist or barber, we love connecting with our visiting pets and learning more about their unique personalities during our time with them. Those are probably our favorite parts of the job! Plus, who wants their home bathroom to smell like "wet dog" for hours after a home groom? And "Hooray!" to no more wrestling dogs into the tub alone! Ready for an upgrade from the big-box grooming salons? Come see us!

All of our grooming services have a turnaround time of approximately 2-6 hours. We will call you when your dog is finished. If you need to pick up at a specific time, please let us know at drop off. All of our grooming is currently by appointment only, which can be booked online via your customer profile or by calling us. Prices vary based on breed, coat condition, style of cut, and behavior. *Please read additional policies below for important information on booking.

Relax and grab a beverage when you pick up your pup! - All grooming visits include complimentary day of Park Play during applicable hours. OWNERS MUST BE PRESENT FOR PARK PLAY.

Troublesome hair and problem areas sometimes require the love that only we can provide. Let us love your pets! ...And their fur. We have two available grooming packages: Haircut & Bath or Bath & Brush. Both packages include specialized shampoos and conditioners, deshedding and hypoallergenic options to best suit your pet’s needs. If you are unsure of which package best suits your needs, we would be happy to help.

Additional Policies

If we notice any concerns with your pets' health condition, we will be sure to let you know. Whether your pet just needs a basic groom, or is a tangled mess, has sensitive skin, needs flea treatment, or got into something really smelly, we have a variety of shampoos, conditioners, and treatments designed to meet the specific grooming needs of your pet(s).

  • Due to high demand for appointments, a grooming appointment is considered a no-show and cancelled if they do not arrive within 15 minutes of the originally scheduled time. For professional grooms that are a no-show, we will require a $50 deposit in order to book the next groom. This deposit will apply toward the next groom but is non-refundable in the event of another no-show.

  • If a pet shows significant human-aggression or bites a team member, we will notify the owner immediately and may request immediate pick up from either grooming. Owner will be responsible for all grooming services rendered up until that point. We reserve the right to refuse future service for the safety of the team and pet.

  • We do not require pets to be on flea preventative, however if we find fleas at any point, we will make every attempt to reach the owner, but in the event we cannot, we will use Dawn dish soap only and the pet will be isolated from other pets while in our care until fleas are resolved.

  • If a dog is found to be extremely matted and needing to be shaved close to the skin, very short, or an otherwise drastic change, we will describe this to owner at check in. We will not cause any pet any sort of pain or discomfort attempting to comb out matting. Dematting is the removal of tangles and knots. While minor tangles may be resolved by brushing or combing, excessive matting must be carefully removed with electric clippers and scissors. Attempting to brush excessive matting is painful and harmful to the animal’s overall wellbeing, skin, and coat. Clipping with a close blade is the least stressful, most humane, and the only force-free solution. Previously concealed skin conditions can now be properly addressed.

PREVENTING MATTING AT HOME

  • Prevention begins at home with frequent combing and brushing (upwards to three times per day). Improper techniques such as brushing the topcoat only will create undercoat matting. Instead, separate the hair, brush & comb in multiple directions from root to tip.

  • Make it fun and enjoyable through positive association-- provide high power treats that only come out for brushing time.

  • Frequent, scheduled grooming & bathing appointments every 4-6 weeks regardless of length

  • Dogs attending daycare, dog parks, or other social settings require more attention - imagine the tangles after romping and slobbering!

  • Establish a manageable haircut for you and your pet’s lifestyle!

  • Purchase combs and brushes best suited for your pet’s breed & coat
